Viki Hennon followed up her presentation about veneering with a class showing some techniques. She (assisted by Donna Cunning) showed everyone how to make a 4 way book match using 4 consecutive veneers from a flitch, and then how to make a pieced item, either a chess board or a compass rose. Everyone received several pieces of veneer, a veneer press, spacers, straight edges and scalpels for working with veneer along with parts to make a clipboard out of the projects. It was fun and very educational.
